Review of Optometrys own Montgomery Vickers, O.D., author of Chairside, gets serious on his very first CD of his own alt-folk songs.
Cellular, recorded independently by Dr. Vickers and producer Rick McNeely (formerly of Nashville and the Berklee College of Music in Boston), is a collection of his own simple, acoustic compositions that run the gamut from jazz to pop to folk.
Dr. Vickers says the album should be available by Christmas. Also, he will make a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation for every CD sold to a fellow eye-care practitioner.
