Dear Colleagues:

In a series of monographs, first issued in 2008 and updated in 2011, we present diagnostic and treatment algorithms for ocular surface disease states. In this monograph, we will discuss new paradigms in the understanding and management of conjunctivitis.

Keeping in mind the best interests of you, our colleagues, we are proud to offer a summary of our  consensus on the most effective ways to address conjunctivitis in the typical optometric practice. Our  hope is that you find the information contained here to be as useful as we intended it to be. Stay tuned for part 3 of this 2011 series, which will cover dry eye.
